Jason Parr is a worship pastor and singer/songwriter in the Kansas City area with a passion for God and his people. He and his wife, Marsha, live in Olathe, KS with their three children Simon, Elise and Juliana and have been actively involved in Christian ministry for over 17 years. He has also been found singing backup for Ben Folds with the Kansas City Symphony orchestra at the Kaufman Center and for Star Wars in Concert with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Sprint Center.

Jason is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary and earned his B.F.A. in Vocal Perfomance from the Univeristy of Kansas School of Music .  He loves playing and listening to music, doing "natury" types of things, and playing tag with his kids.  If you would like him to lead worship, preach, or speak at your camp or conference, please contact him and he'll get back to you ASAP!
Jason carries an extreme interest in God's kingdom, his people (the Church), and the joy of knowing and sharing the fullness of his promises through his Word (the Bible). As an external processor, he spends a lot of time writing as a means of gaining understanding on these matters. This site contains a lot of the content that emerges from this writing. Enjoy!
Freedom Calls
In 2013, Jason joined up with some friends and members of his worship team to form Freedom Calls. Since then, the band has played at conferences, churches, coffee shops, and bars across the midwest.
